Are you visiting Tacoma around Valentine’s Day? Whether you are single, coupled up, or on a trip with your girlfriends, there are many inspired and romantic ways to ring in this celebration of love in the city.

Valentine’s Day Dance Party

Put on your dancing shoes and waltz on over to the Arthur Murray School of Dance for an evening  of music and tripping the light fantasic. And if you can’t waltz just yet, you’re certainly heading to the right place! Ballroom dancing lessons are available at a special rate for those who are interested, or you can just join in socially to sway to some fantastic tunes. Either way, the atmosphere is casual, fun, and welcoming. There will also be champagne to sip and sweet treats to snack on in between steps. This swinging event takes place on February 14 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Galentine’s Shopping and Wine Event

On February 11, grab your gals and make your way over to the Vino Aquino Winery for an evening of wine, sweets, and shopping. There will be delightful wine served, at just $5 a glass, as well as a fabulous selection of vendors including Mary Kay, Payton Piper Boutique, Pampered Chef, Paparazzi Girl, and Kitchen Sink Crafts. Not to mention, sweets to sample all night long. Get there early—the first 20 people to reserve their spots will receive a special swag bag!

Valentine’s Day Couple’s Party

If you’re in the mood for dancing all night to the biggest and best hits from yesteryear this February 14, make sure to pick up your tickets to the Valentine’s Day Couple’s Party. Held at West of the Waterway, DJ Mr. Nyce Guy will be spinning cuts from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ’90s, and ‘00s—and maybe a couple of new school jams here and there, as well. Show up in matching outfits and you’ll be automatically entered for the award for Best Dressed Couple. There’ll also be a photo booth on-site so you can capture all your special moments, as well as a raffle for a fancy dinner for two at the Seattle Space Needle.

And, of course, if you are planning a trip to the Tacoma, Pullayup area, make sure to book your stay with us here at Best Western Premiere Plaza Hotel & Conference Center. Along with being conveniently located near all the celebrations and top attractions in town, our Washington hotel offers a wide variety of stylish, spacious, and comfortable accommodations, as well as impressive  on-site amenities at your disposal, including our Fireside Bar & Bistro and fabulous soaker hot tub—both of which can make for a special and memorable Valentine’s Day.
