With the leaves turning vibrant red, orange and yellow, it’s the perfect time to go outside and enjoy the crisp fall air! There’s no excuse to get out there and enjoy some outdoor activities especially in the Pacific North West where the air is clear and the weather is mild. Here are some things to do when you’re visiting Pullayup!

Pioneer Park

In downtown Puyallup, there is a park with the statue of Ezra Meeker. Pioneer park has a Veteran Memorial, a spray park, picnic tables, a pavilion and everything else needed for an amazing day in the park.

Puyallup Fish Hatchery

The Puyallup Fish Hatchery is somewhere where the whole family can go to. The Pacific North West is known for their fresh fish, mostly salmon and trout and the Fish Hatchery is where you can learn all about them!  The Puyallup Fish Hatchery has lots of fish to see and you can see the fish at various stages of their development. You can even feed the fish there! Although the farm has mostly self-guided tours, on Saturdays, you can get a guided tour so you can learn all about fish!

Spooner Farms

Nothing screams Fall like going to a Pumpkin Patch! The Spooner Farms has everything you would need for the most perfect fall day. They have homemade fudge, caramel apples, candies, pumpkin tossing, corn mazes, an animal barn and most importantly, lots of pumpkins! Whether you are a Puyallup local or just visiting, there is something for everyone.

If you’re just travelling through or planning a vacation, make sure to book your accommodation at the Best Western Premiere Plaza Hotel in Puyallup. Located close to all these amazing locations, there is nothing better than enjoying the Fall weather before Winter comes!
